OUR TEAM
DJ Hybrid Chicago is a husband and wife team. My husband, Mike, is a professional musician with his own original music and band, and he has been in the wedding industry with his band for the past 12 years.
During COVID, we aimed to help couples keep their guest count low by reducing the number of band members and getting creative with the music. This led us to create DJ and Musician Hybrids, which allowed us to provide engaging live music while keeping the number of people in the room to a minimum.
These DJ Hybrid combinations quickly became popular because they offered a unique experience, giving couples a broader song selection while retaining the live music element. It also provided something special for couples to showcase to their friends and family at their weddings.
We have now established DJ Hybrid Chicago as its own company, with a dedicated team focused on enhancing every aspect of the DJ Hybrid experience. This includes unique features like light-up wristbands, photo booths, ceremony and cocktail music, and more.
